Phillips & Company is the successor to the individual Certified Public Accounting practice established March 1936 in Los Angeles by Joseph R. Zazueta. Mr. Zazueta practiced as a sole practitioner until 1954 at which time Roy H. Osterhout associated with him to form the partnership of Zazueta, Osterhout & Company in 1955. C. Anthony Phillips was admitted as a partner during August of 1973. In 1982 the firm relocated to Pasadena and the name was changed to Phillips & Company.
Our firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Phillips & Company was featured in the July 1997 issue of THE PRACTICAL ACCOUNTANT in the article Becoming a Player in Like-Kind Exchanges. Since its founding in 1936 our firm has assisted thousands of individuals and businesses with their tax and accounting needs.
