The firm was founded in 1991 by Kenneth L. Jackson after having been a partner in a large local firm in Denver. His desire was to refocus his attention to the closely-held businesses in the community and individual taxpayers. He believed the larger firms had lost touch with their clients on a personal and professional level and chose to start afresh in building new and existing relationships, and provide quality accounting and financial planning services.
