Tom was a visionary who spent his life helping his community and his country. Hailed as a man of "unquestionable integrity," Tom built his reputation on his concern for small business, for economic development and for the common man. Tom was beloved by those who knew him, and left behind an enduring legacy-Brock and Company, the firm he founded in 1956.
Tom Brock was born in Casper, Wyoming on October 25th, 1929, also known as "Black Friday" - the day the stock market crashed. Tom earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in public accounting from the University of Denver in 1951 and 1952. After spending three years as a finance officer in the US Army, Tom moved back to Denver and joined the firm of Cordle and Associates in 1956. He bought the Longmont branch of the office that year.
