Walt Dalby joined the national accounting firm of Ernst & Ernst in 1936 after receiving a master’s degree from the University of Colorado. He served the entire Western Slope and eventually established an office in Grand Junction.
In 1948, Walt left Ernst & Ernst and established his own practice. Wes Wendland joined Walt in 1955. In addition to the Grand Junction office, DWC opened an office in Glenwood Springs in 1968 and one in Montrose in 1974. Walt's commitment to serving clients with the highest technical and ethical standards continues today. In 2002, DWC opened the Vail Valley office as well as an office in Rifle in 2005.
