Savage, Weiner & Company was founded in 1928 by Haskell J. Weiner, my grandfather. In the seventy-nine plus years my grandfather, father and I have been in business we have performed auditing, review, and compilation services; forecasted and projected financial statements; designed, implemented and monitored financial control systems for start-up and ongoing computerized bookkeeping; served as bookkeeper and/or controller, as tax, business and financial planner. Our staff is made up entirely of certified public accountants with years of business, tax, computer and management services experience who together maintain a working knowledge of almost all clients in the firm. Each staff member understands and supports the importance of providing quality professional service to the client. As a result, our clients are encouraged to speak to any of us when calling with their questions.

We can help you analyze partnership agreements, buy-sell agreements, leasing, franchising, sales and management contracts for tax and business considerations. We also provide planning, preparation and audit representation on all federal and state income, estate and gift taxation matters.

The tax department advises clients on a wide variety of tax matters, such as the structuring of mergers and acquisitions, sales and/or liquidations of businesses. We frequently provide advice on S corporations, compensation planning (including incentives), other retirement matters, loss carry forwards and the tax consequences of estate planning arrangements. We also advise and help clients in structuring their affairs with regard to the tax consequences and the type of entity used for business acquisitions, financing and development and sales of real estate when owned in LLC, partnership, corporate, trust or individual form.
