In 1990, our partners returned the firm to its local roots by acquiring the accounting, audit and tax practice of the St. Louis office of an international public accounting firm that had merged with our founding firm in 1969. Soon afterwards, we acquired the Lopata Partnership, a local accounting practice in Clayton, Missouri.
